Carefully selected Koganemochi glutinous rice grown in Ichinoseki is thoroughly pounded and generously coated with mildly sweet zunda bean paste, highlighting the rich, natural flavor of edamame. The pleasantly chewy mochi and fragrant edamame make for a classic regional Japanese sweet. It ranked No. 3 in sales at the Hiroshima National Confectionery Exposition.
